about the owner
Lauren received her training at the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage by an amazing staff of inspirational educators and healers. After residing on the Hawaiian islands for seven years, which was truly a nurturing experience, she faced a spiritual cross roads, and chose to listen to the guidance and followed her intuition. Her greatest teaching of the islands is the gift of “Aloha” which she brought with her to beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Mountains in 2003.

The fundamentals for Mountain Aloha’s success are rooted in the comprehensive understanding that every body has the innate wisdom to perceive insight and keen awareness of one’s individual homeostasis – one’s own healing system. Beginning with idea that everyone’s pain is completely unique, including the impact of the cultural environment and society.
A person is not a “healer,” but can be a facilitator and conduit for aligned intention of connecting the will of a person to the will of a higher power.
